Our Location

Barrington Lodge is situated in the centre of  Old Crawley, just a 15-minute ride to London Gatwick Airport.  Close to the Crawley town centre, we offer a really high value for money break or stop-over.  The guest house is within walking distance of all the main attractions in Crawley and it is just a 10-minute walk to Crawley station.

The guest house is extremely well placed for trips to the South coast and the famous Sussex downs.  Fast rail links to both London and the south coast make Crawley the ideal location for both Corporate travellers and holiday makers.

London is only a mere 40 minutes train ride from Gatwick Airport South Terminal rail station.

In fact Gatwick Airport, the second busiest airport in Europe, is within the Crawley town boundary, and London Heathrow can be reached in 40 minutes by car from Barrington Lodge.

The Crawley County Mall offers covered shopping facilities, while Queens Square has a more traditional shopping layout.  The High Street in Crawley has managed to retain its original feel and is now almost fully pedestrianised.

How to reach us from GATWICK AIRPORT;

By Car:

Drive towards Crawley Town then  take Brighton Road (A2219) , then make a  turn to Southgate Drive,  to  Barrington Road and  HUNTER ROAD (2nd).

By Bus:

From Gatwick Airport Station/South Terminal catch Fastway route 10 or 20 towards Bewbush/Broadfield from bus stop 13 (follow signs to 'Local Buses' from Gatwick Airport railway station) and alight at Southgate Avenue South. Adult single fare £1.60.

By Train:

Depart from Platform 3 of Gatwick Airport Train Station. Arrive at Crawley Station (Duration of trip is 9 minutes; Second train stop). Train Fare £ 2.60, Standard Class. Barrington Lodge is within walking distance (10minutes-walk) from train station (head towards Southgate). Alternatively, is a bus service from the station going to Barrington stop of  Southgate Area. Adult single fare £1.60.
